Here's my final exercise. It is a combination of the old arcade classic «Breakout» and the modern internet phenomenon «Nyan Cat». I wanted to create a consistent look and feel throughout the whole gaming experience. In order to get this (as I call it) «japanese» style, graphics/fonts were created and even a music sample recorded which is played at the startup.
