DreamCloud Concept and Manual

24. November 2010

It’s the end of a long and crazy day and you’re exhausted. You have a lot on your mind; experiences you had during the day, issues that have to be resolved, ideas that have to be generated. And last but not least, barely any free time to do any of these things. Why not utilise the time you dream? DreamCloud trains your aptitude to recall your dreams more easily, nurturing the luxury of sleeping. Dreams can be used in a variety of ways, for instance, to resolve current personal issues or as a potential source of creativity.

Here's a manual to how your DreamCloud works best:
-
1. Refrain from a heavy meal shortly before going to bed.
2. Make a conscious decision to remember your dreams and voice it aloud. 3. Turn over DreamCloud to activate it. A light snoring buzz will tell you it’s been activated and gently guide you to sleep. DreamCloud is going to track your sleep cycles and monitor each of your REM phases, which are about 90 minutes apart. Because the first few hours of your sleep are so important, however, it will wake you around 4.5 and 6 hours after going to sleep. 4. Try to fall asleep on your back. this and the blue and silver colour of the pillow, together with subtle lavender and rosebud scents will help you into a calm, relaxed sleep, rich with vivid dreams. 5. When DreamCloud wakes you with a further gentle buzzing vibration, try to stay as still as possible. Recall your dream in as much detail as possible, including all sensory impressions like colors, images, sounds, tastes, people's expressions, settings, feelings, and emotions. 5. Grab and squeeze one of the four corners of DreamCloud to begin the recording. 6. When you’ve described your dream as intricately as possible, squeeze the corner again to end the recording. 7. Go back to sleep. you will be woken again after the next REM phase. However, if you don’t want to be woken again during the same night, turn over DreamCloud again, just as you did to activate it. A further short buzz will tell you it’s been switched off. 8. The next morning arrives and you begin your day like any other. whenever you get a chance during the day - on the way to work, eating breakfast or waiting for a collegue for example, you can listen, organise and archive to your recorded dreams on the your personal DreamCloud server.
