WORKING PROCESS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT: Day 1 (Thursday afternoon): -Planning of the concept -Planning of the remaining days Day 2 (Friday): -Recording of various sounds around the school -Storyboarding -Distributing the scenes between each other Day 3 (Tuesday): -Video was done by Kevin over the weekend -More sounds were recorded the day before during the afternoon -Cutting the raw video and editing it to the final version -Editing sounds and adding them into the video (everyone on their own) Day 4 (Wednesday morning, Last Day): -Polishing the last few details -Assembling the 3 parts of the video together and making sure the sounds fit with the movie clip (!!!) ************************************************ DISTRIBUTION OF WORK: Together -planning the concept and the schedule throughout the whole project -recording and collecting sounds -discussions and criticism between each other during the editing of the videos on our own -assembling the video together Individually -editing the video parts assigned -modifying the sounds to fit the movie clip Kevin -recording the video -uploading the videos onto the blog Sarard -writing the project concept May -documenting the project ************************************************ STORYBOARD: (Note to self: The camera always stays at the one spot for a reason. The audience should concentrate on the sound more than the movie clip itself due to the fact that the sole reason we're doing the exercise is because of the sound itself.) Scenes: 1. Kevin starts out of range of the camera and comes into the picture, closing in on the elevator door as he presses the button. After hearing some loud noises behind the closed doors, he realizes that something within the elevator had broken down. (Kevin) **************************************** 2. The protagonist enters a room full of machineries and starts to repair the electronics of the elevator, in hoping of making it work afterwards. (Sarard) **************************************** 3. Kevin returns to the first scene again and presses the button another time. This time, apparently, there was not much of a disastrous sound and the elevator made a recovery. The door then opens and Kevin steps in.
