Assignment 1: Into the Wild!

Field research starts with the process of observing and collecting data about an activity in a location and of people, objects and media involved in performing it. You will use one or more of the following methods: direct and participatory observation, video ethnography, interviews, questionnaires, photography, cultural probes and others.  The methods for this step may be different for each project and will be identified through individual mentoring. Deliverable 1

• Description of the observation method
• Documentation of collected data in from of videos, annotated photographs of peoples activity, architectural plans with the flow of people (how tangible space affects the experience), sound and light sources (how immaterial flow affect the experience)
