Tag 2: Rhino-Modeling

11. January 2013

On the first day we got to familiarize ourselves with Rhino. We started by modeling simple objects and task. The learning curve for Rhino was surprisingly easy compared to other 3d programs I have tried.

Arrow Untitled3

A arrow one of the first objects we modeled. This was done by extruding or rotating a 2d sketch.

by using a schematic we were given the task to construct models.

Screwdriver

Untitled2

Fallowing a tutorial from the Rhino manual we learned how to construct complex structures using boolean union or difference.

Personal Object: Lighter

Untitled

As a final exercise we were given the task of choosing a object and then modeling as exact as possible in Rhino. I chose to model a Bic lighter.
