My second prototype was made out of plaster. Plaster has the advantage of taking shape of the original object easily so modelling it to the exact shape of my arm did not pose itself as a problem at all. However, I needed to use other means of attaching it to my arm and that was when wearing it started to become uncomfortable. The knife mechanism worked quite well but due to the rough plaster surface, the knife would sometimes retract back into its original position slower than expected.
